Sunday Services

Worship_med.jpg

Sunday mornings

Morning services begin at 10.30am, and are usually led by our Pastor Steve Langford.

We follow a traditional format, with a rich mix of modern songs and traditional hymns played by our music group.

Although we are mostly an older congregation, children are made welcome and included in most parts of our time together.

We also provide a Sunday school and creche facilities during the service.

At the end of the service there is time to get to know new folk and meet up with old friends over a cup of tea or coffee.

Sunday evenings

Most weeks there is an evening meeting at 6:30pm, varying in format and topics.

  • More commonly these are Study Evenings looking at a particular subject or Bible book.
  • Once a month there is communion and the service will focus on different models of atonement.

Both these services take a tradition format but will include challenging indepth teaching.

  • Occasionally we hold 'In Conversation with ...' services where we are introduced to someone from the local area or one of the organisations we support. This takes the form of a chat show with a selection of songs or hymns chosen by the guest.

These are interesting and elightening evenings and a great introduction to how God is working in people's daily lives.

  • There are occasions when we join with other churches for a united service.
